Open Day: NMI celebrates the institute's anniversary in the fall

What exactly is electrospinning? How can organs be grown on a chip? And how can you measure electrical impulses in a cell? On Friday, September 19, 2025, we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary at the NMI with an open day. During guided tours, visitors will be able to take a look inside the laboratories and at devices that can perform high-precision 3D printing or look down to the atomic level. Information stands and other activities will also provide an insight into their diverse work at the NMI.

Visit us and find out what NMI employees are researching - between medicine, medical technology, high-precision analytics and completely new fields. Always with the aim of transferring research and development into application.

Of course, food and drink will also be provided.
