Identification of process-relevant parameters for monitoring ATMPs

ATMPs such as cellular therapies or tissue-engineered implants are in many cases highly complex and individualized products. Compared to conventional therapeutics, they have special quality requirements.

We are investigating the possibility of using spectroscopic techniques and imaging to define quality characteristics during the manufacturing process without destroying the sample.

• Monitoring cells and polymers in bioinks for 3D printing
• Quantification of process-relevant metabolites in cell expansions
• Detection of potential residues (chemicals, viral vectors, solvents) from the manufacturing process
