NMI at the annual conference of the DGBM

A delegation of the NMI is currently at the annual conference of the German Society for Biomaterials (DGBM). Together with partners from TU Darmstadt and the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, they presented the Heal-X Bioink project on a poster. The aim of this project is to research and develop a bio-inspired, self-healing biomaterial ink for 3D bioprinting. The project consortium presented the first interim results of the project, which has been running for several months.

The NMI researchers also presented their Multimod 3D project. This is about imaging for 3D bioprinting. Finally, Hanna Hartmann provided initial insights into the upcoming VDI guideline on 3D bioprinting, which she has been working on in a responsible position.
