Starting signal for Heal-X Bioink: BMBF project on the future of 3D bioprinting

Today saw the much-anticipated kick-off of the BMBF-funded Heal-X Bioink project, which focuses on the development of a self-healing, bio-inspired hydrogel platform for next-generation bioprinting. The event was a great success, with high-profile partners from the Technical University of Darmstadt, the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz and the VDI project management organization in attendance.

The agenda included a brief introduction of the partners, discussions on preliminary work on the project and the definition of work packages and first steps/results.

The cooperation and commitment of all involved promises promising progress in the field of 3D bioprinting. We are looking forward to the upcoming developments.

More information about the project can be found here.
