Data from the ProbenMaterialCenterBW even more readily available
In the ProbenMaterialCenterBW project, the consortium partners NMI and health network BioLAGO (funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism) have jointly established a competence network to improve the availability of clinical samples and retrieved implants.
Manufacturers require suitable samples and explants for the approval of medical products. Clinics can pass on such sample material and removed implants to research and development. However, until now manufacturers have usually lacked the right contact person and access to suitable contact points. The data available in the ProbenMaterialCenterBW now also flows into the “KlinischeStudien-Lotsen BW”. In future, interested parties will be able to find clinics, laboratories and other facilities that provide various sample materials.
