Jens Göpfert is a Senior Principal Scientist at the NMI and is responsible for the development and validation of modern immunological assays, ranging from established methods to ultra-sensitive technologies such as Simoa. His work and that of his team focuses on biomarker strategies, robust assay platforms, and reliable data to support preclinical and clinical development. This includes the production and characterization of assay reagents, the implementation of GCP compliant assays, and the execution of exploratory and clinical study sample analyses. In addition, he advises internal and external partners on technology selection and biomarker driven project strategies.
