The state of Baden-Württemberg promotes climate protection projects

As part of the special investment program "Climate-neutral business-oriented research", the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Tourism is funding nine infrastructure projects at the institutes of the Baden-Württemberg Innovation Alliance with a total of around 3.2 million euros. This also includes a project at the NMI. Minister Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut emphasizes the central role of the innBW institutes for the innovative capacity of companies in the state and their contribution to overcoming the climate crisis. The funding measure is aimed at the sustainable modernization of energy-intensive research infrastructures in order to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption. The non-profit research institutions receive crucial grants for strategic climate protection measures that they would not be able to implement on their own.
