After completing her doctorate at the University of Tübingen in 1995 in the field of chemistry, she joined the NMI in 2021 and started there as a project manager. In 2019, she became group leader of the Interfacial Analysis in Production Process group. Her research interests include surface analytics, process analytics, and regulatory science.
