Head of Biomedicine & Material Sciences
After completing her doctorate at the Institute of Medical Microbiology and Hygiene, University of Tübingen in 2006, she joined the NMI in 2008 as a scientist in the Regenerative Medicine Group. Today, she is the head of the department Biomedicine & Material Sciences. Her research interests include services and R&D for medical device companies, analysis and modification of surfaces to regulate interaction with proteins, bacteria and cells, and biomaterial processing: bioprinting, electrospinning, coating.
