Spherical high quality, industrial-relevant LNMO materials developed. LNMO/electrolyte interface stabilized with borate-based interphase layer. Borate-modified LNMO exhibits superior electrochemical performance. The primary aging mechanism stems from LNMO/electrolyte interface instability.
