Dr. Simon Straß studied Applied Chemistry at Reutlingen University from 2009 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, he completed his Master's degree in Chemistry at the University of Marburg. He then worked as a medicinal chemist at Synovo GmbH, Tübingen, until 2023. After completing his PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2023, Dr. Simon Straß works as a scientist in the Bioanalytics group at the NMI. His research interests include mass spectrometry, HDX MS and bioanalytical chemistry.
