Neuro-micro­physio­logical systems

The Neuro Microphysiological Systems Group focuses on the development of novel enabling technologies for the implementation of more physiological-relevant in-vitro assays for basic research and drug discovery in neuroscience. This is achieved by combining advanced cellular models, microelectrode arrays and microfluidics into integrated platforms allowing the reconstruction, functional interrogation and microscopic analysis of 2- and 3-D neuronal circuits in a high-throughput format.
