Rege­nerative Bio­mate­rials

The focus of the group Regenerative Biomaterials is on medical devices and their biocompatibility. Specific surface modifications are used to add beneficial biological properties to medical devices, e.g. a regulated cell adhesion. The development and evaluation of antibacterial surfaces as well as the immobilization and controlled release of active ingredients are additional main activities of the group.
