Development of immunoassays for new serum biomarkers for a refined diagnosis of prostate cancer
Description:
Developed of immunoassay bead-based, tests for measurement of serum biomarkers enable the diagnosis of prostate cancer with significantly higher accuracy than today's clinical standard. In combination with the currrent gold standard (PSA), the additional information gained from the new biomarkers will reduces unnecessary biopsies and will thus result in significant cost savings for the healthcare system and less discomfort for the patients.
