Meeting of the 3G-BioInk project

Exchange in the 3G-BioInk project: Last Friday, the consortium partners met at HOT Screen GmbH, located in the immediate vicinity of the NMI. The day before, researchers from several of the project partners had already met at our institute to test a newly developed, hand-held bioprinter from Black Drop Biodrucker GmbH.

The 3G-BioInk project is developing and optimizing a platform technology that can be used as a screening tool for the research and development of innovative drugs. The NMI colleagues are contributing their expertise in electrospinning, functionalizing the fibers used in the required manner.
