In order to protect individuals as well as society as a whole, the NMI has also taken measures to protect employees in the light of the corona pandemic. While in recent days and weeks hygiene measures have already been increased and external contacts reduced to a minimum, we are now increasingly working from our home office or in shifts. The reason for this measure is that personal contacts are to be further reduced in order to prevent possible chains of infection at an early stage - and thus also to be able to maintain the Institute's operations. Thus, laboratory operations continue running in order to keep the impact on our project and R&D partners as small as possible.
Despite working from home, we are and will continue to be available for you as usual, i.e. both by e-mail and telephone. Should you have any problems in reaching your contact person at the NMI, please contact us as follows:
Phone: +49 7121 51530-0
e-mail: info@nmi.de
For appointments that have already been arranged, we offer you the alternative of a telephone or video conference. If a personal meeting is indispensable, please understand that we will have to postpone it.
As you have probably already heard, events have also been widely cancelled. Although we are 100% behind this decision, we naturally regret having to forego personal contacts at conferences or fairs. Nevertheless, we believe that in times of crisis we should not turn away from each other, even if the contact cannot be made in person. Therefore, if you have any questions or if we can support you in the implementation of projects, please feel free to contact us at any time.
Stay healthy!
