innBW founds association

While the Innovation Alliance Baden-Württemberg, in short innBW, can already look back on a long history, the 13 member institutes joined together to form an association on 24 June. This not only created a legal framework, but also set the course for the future of non-university research in the federal state. The NMI is not only a member of the innBW; Prof. Dr. Katja Schenke-Layland, Director of the NMI, will also become the deputy chairperson of the association.

Establishing the association not only strengthens existing structures, but also establishes an office in the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart. It is the objective of the association to further expand contacts with companies and make promising technologies available.

Further information on the foundation of the association can be found on the homepage of innBW.
