Participants can expect a scientific programme that will focus on the interdisciplinary aspects of designing medical implants in the field of regenerative medicine. High-ranked invited speakers will present their latest data concerning the generation of bioactive materials and the cellular responses. Because this field of applied research requires continuous input from basic sciences, cellular mechanisms of cell adhesion and the mechanical control of cells will be discussed.
