Survival in today's networked world is only possible if we maintain a competitive edge in Europe by incorporating discoveries, inventions and new findings into innovative products, services and technologies. We contribute towards this aim by transforming knowledge and ideas into innovations.
New findings emerge at interfaces, on the various borders of science and in the interplay between different disciplines. We explore the frontiers between the bio- and material sciences. During the last 25 years we made several discoveries which derived from our collaborations with partners from science and industry. By pursuing new possibilities for applications and the optimum development of innovations, we have facilitated the successful launching of numerous products into the market.

Wir bauen Brücken
